Attorney General John Quigley said:

“Providing pro bono legal assistance is a key way in which individual lawyers and organisations can use their legal expertise to facilitate greater access to justice for Western Australians.

“There are many outstanding individuals and organisations across our State who have demonstrated a commitment to ensuring all members of our community have access to legal representation.

“I commend them for their passion and enthusiasm. Between them, they contribute countless hours in pro bono legal work to our community every single day.

“These awards publicly acknowledge these individual lawyers and legal organisations and I urge them to put in a nomination, or to nominate someone they believe is worthy of these awards, before the closing date.”
