A typical BMX Track found in the larger regional towns and cities

Federal Member for Durack and Minister for the Environment Melissa Price is delighted to announce that Kimberley Action Sports Inc received $6,000 in Round 4 of the Stronger Communities Program.

“The Stronger Communities Program is a wonderful initiative for community organisations that have a project which could benefit from funding,” Ms Price said.

“I’m delighted to announce that the funding under the Stronger Communities Program will allow Kimberley Action Sports to start construction of a BMX track in Kununurra.

“This round had a tourism focus and having a BMX track in Kununurra will attract tourists and competitors to the town, adding to the local economy,” said Ms Price.

“It will also help local youth to be involved in this popular sport.”
