Halls Creek Youth – Nothing is Impossible

A retired 3 time world champion bull rider Adriano Moraes from Brazil is coming to Australia and is having 2 bull riding clinics in Scone NSW.

Now what does this have to do with the Youth of Halls Creek?

Well the 1st clinic this weekend the 26th and 27th of January 2019 and the next weekend clinic on the 2nd and 3rd of February 2019 will see local Halls Creek boy Chase Bedford and his cousin from Derby AJ Kitching attending these clinics.

From the 2018 Kununurra Bushmans Rodeo Chase Bedford (right) won the 2nd division bull ride and Aaron (AJ) Kitching on the left who came 2nd in the open bull ride

So when all is said and done there are great opportunities and more to life if you look hard enough and have the ambition to get there.

Chase Bedford’s mum Daralyn said, “It’s devastating and heart breaking hearing about vandalism and break-ins in Halls Creek.

“This is an opportunity to show that there are some really great kids in our town and in the Kimberley that could do with some recognition of their achievements, it is well overdue”.

Hopefully the Halls Creek Herald will have a follow-up story on this with some photograph of this amazing opportunity in the weeks to come.

If any of our readers have stories of our kids that are doing well and are striving for better things, let us know, we would be quite willing to publicise their acheivements.
