Subway Kununurra has launched a fresh new menu with 19 new ingredients, to inject a new level of freshness and encourage people to ‘fall in love with lunch again’.
Subway Kununurra Development Agent, Paul Duffy said the fresh new menu featured new and improved breads, meats, cheeses, salads, sauces and a vegan option to provide contemporary options along with the iconic flavours Subway has become known for.
“Our new menu is a great balance between the classic Subway favourites and new flavour combinations, so our guests can build a tasty sub that’s their kind of fresh,” said Paul Duffy “Some of the new ingredients include premium-quality carved and cured meats including authentic streaky bacon, carved turkey and leg ham, rustic chicken and a new 100% Aussie beef diced steak.
“Meanwhile, a delicious natural cheese is replacing processed cheese and is a great base for any of our subs.
“Subway Kununurra has also introduced a vegan sub with smashed falafel, for those who prefer a plant-based diet as well as malted rye bread with seeds and grains, or gluten free wraps to offer more choice for guests choosing a gluten-free diet.”
Subway’s fresh menu has no shortage of condiments with an expanded range of sauces, habanero hot sauce, blue cheese dressing, pesto mayo, smoky BBQ sauce, tzatziki, seeded mustard, cranberry relish and smoky tomato chutney.
New seasonings such as cracked pepper, rock salt, herb seasoning and zesty spice are also the perfect addition for those wanting a hit of instant flavour.
Paul Duffy said that while Subway favourites such as meatball and chicken classic remain available, a range of new tastes are now on offer in Subway’s fresh menu.
“Subway’s Buffalo Chicken with Blue Cheese Dressing, Smashed Falafel with Tzatziki or even Turkey & Bacon with Cranberry are just some of the mouth-watering flavour combinations that are only available at Subway restaurants,” Paul Duffy said.
“We know Aussie’s love their food fresh and Subway Kununurra has always chopped and prepared whole fresh produce in-restaurant daily, and we’re proud that this fresh new menu has more of a focus on fresh local produce.
“We have salads, meats, cheeses and breads sourced from growers and producers around Australia, from Bundaberg in QLD to Carnarvon in WA, our 19 new ingredients are possible with the support of hard-working Aussie farmers who are dedicated to delivering the freshest ingredients to our guests.
“We’re proud that produce is locally sourced, not only supporting jobs for our region, but also providing Subway guests with a mouth-watering fresh taste.
“We challenge everyone to come in to Subway Kununurra, create their own masterpiece today and ‘fall in love with lunch again’.”
